How To Create Contact Forms Using WPForms

Last day, we have taught you how can you create a contact form using Contact Form 7. In this post, we are going to show you another free and drag and drop plugin WPForms. You can read how to create contact form using WPForms from here.

How To Create Contact Forms Using WPForms

First of all, you need to go to the WordPress admin area and add new plugins. There, you need to search for WPForms. Simply install the plugin there.

After installing, activate the plugin.

activate WPForms lite plugin

You can see a new menu called WPForms on the left bar.

You don’t have a form right now. So, you need to create one.

Name your form and choose the simple contact form from the list.

By default, there will be 3 fields.

  • Name
  • Email
  • Message

You can drag and drop the fields from the left side from your form field. In my case, I wish to add a subject field. Simply drag a single line tet to the form and configure it.

For a basic form, the default fields are good enough. Go to the notification settings. There, you can configure the email address, subject line and reply to emails. By default, the form will send every new email to the WordPress admin email address.

Now, save the form.

The form will give you a custom shortcode. You need to copy it.

Create a page for adding the code. Something like General Inquiry or Contact Us. After that, paste the copied shortcode on the page, publish or update the page.

Check your website from the front end. You can see the contact form there.

You can test the contact form by sending an email through it. It will be sent to your WordPress admin email address.

Will you add the WPForms Pro review?
I am planning to purchase the pro version. But need to know the main features before that.
    Thanks.

      Hi.
If you have the WPForms Pro, it is possible. Another great plugin which offers file uploading is Formidable Forms.
